Karlijn Klok has a diverse background with experience in various industries. Karlijn began their career in 2016 as a Medewerkster Bediening at Het Heerenlogement. Karlijn then worked as a Stagiair Food & Beverages at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C. in 2016. In 2017, they joined Melles People as a Hostess and also worked as a Shift Lead Bediening at NELIS Amsterdam.

In 2018, Karlijn served as the Voorzitter at A.I.S.A. Aphrodite. Karlijn then joined Unilever in 2019 as a Marketing Intern and later worked as a Recruitment Assistant at Payvision. In 2020, they worked as a Senior Customer Success Associate at Picnic Technologies.

Karlijn joined De Buitenboordmotor in 2021 and held multiple roles including Project Manager Innovatie, Communitymanager, and Project Lead Strategie & Marketing. Currently, in 2023, they are working at Effectory as a People Strategy Consultant.

Karlijn Klok began their education in 2009 at Koningin Wilhelmina College, where they pursued their Atheneum VWO degree with a focus on Economics and Society. After completing their secondary education in 2015, they enrolled at Hotelschool The Hague and earned their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Hospitality Management in 2020.

In the following year, from 2020 to 2020, Karlijn pursued a Pre-Master Business Administration program at the University of Amsterdam. This program provided their with a foundation in Business administration, Bedrijfskunde, Business management, and Bedrijfsmanagement.

Continuing their educational journey, Karlijn enrolled at the University of Amsterdam - Amsterdam Business School in 2021. Karlijn is currently pursuing a Master's degree with a specialization in Entrepreneurship & Innovation.

Overall, Karlijn has shown a consistent interest in business and management throughout their education, with a focus on hospitality management in their undergraduate studies and a transition into broader business administration and entrepreneurship during their postgraduate studies.
