Jake III Spruit

Jake III Spruit has a diverse work experience in the field of architecture and operations management. Jake III is currently the Chief Operating Officer at EFFEKT since November 2020. Prior to this, Jake worked as a Secretary at AIA Continental Europe from September 2018 to December 2022. Jake III also served as the Operations Director and Associate Partner at Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects from July 2018 to October 2020. Before that, they were an Architect and Project Manager at Henning Larsen from September 2010 to June 2018. Jake started their career as an Architect at RKD Architects from October 2005 to November 2009. Jake III also gained experience as an Architect at Integrated Architecture from 2001 to 2005 and as an Intern Architect at Beta Design Group and The Design Forum in 1998 and 1997 respectively.

Jake III Spruit completed their education in architecture, earning a Bachelor of Science, Masters of Engineering, and Masters of Architecture with distinction from the University of Michigan in 2000. Prior to that, they obtained an Associates of Arts from Grand Rapids Community College in 1996. In 2014, they also studied Danish at IA Sprogcenter. Jake III has additional certifications including being a Certified Project Management Associate, Fitwel Ambassador, Registered Architect, and LEED Green Associate.
