Carmine Bruno is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive in the luxury marketplace sector. As the Founder and CEO of Effetto since May 2020, Carmine aims to connect traditional values with modern technology in a family-operated, passion-driven start-up. Prior to this, Carmine served as the Managing Director of 1stdibs International from August 2012 to November 2019, overseeing all international operations and global strategic partnerships for the world’s largest online luxury marketplace. Before joining 1stdibs, Carmine was the Managing Director of Online Galleries Limited from January 2007 until its acquisition by 1stdibs in September 2012. Earlier experience includes serving as an Art Auctioneer at Park West Gallery from January 2003 to January 2007.
