Efficient Energy Compliance is a full service energy consulting firm that specializes in energy audits, energy benchmarking, energy modeling, commissioning, retro-commissioning, as well as energy code and local law compliance. EEC's team of engineers and construction industry veterans is unique in its ability to provide greener results and greater returns throughout the project life cycle while optimizing cost savings for building owners. Our staff consists of Senior Members of The Association of Energy Engineers and are recognized as Certified Energy Managers and Existing Building Commissioning Professionals. In addition to identifying savings measures our approach will help buildings optimize their performance and make sure that all current facility requirements are met or exceeded.

For NYC based buildings greater than 25,000 SF in size, EEC offers a comprehensive suite of services for building owners and management companies to ensure compliance with Local Laws 33, 84, 85, 87, 88 and 133.

EEC also provides commissioning services for new construction and retrofit / rehabilitation projects nation-wide. Besides being mandatory under many jurisdictions local laws or building energy codes, commissioning proactively identifies and solves problems before they disrupt a successful project. Properly commissioned buildings typically have fewer change orders, are more energy efficient, and have lower operation and maintenance costs. Combined energy and operational savings can result in zero or net negative project costs with minimal payback periods.

Efficient Energy Compliance staff are also experts in the International Energy Conservation Code which is the basis for numerous state-wide energy codes including New York, Florida and Massachusetts and city-wide codes in New York City, Boston and Miami. Through COMcheck or eQuest based energy models we provide the necessary energy analysis to document your code compliance.
