Nick Cataldo

Sr Vice president of Sales and Marketing at Efficient Power Conversion

Nick Cataldo has over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing for various technology companies. Nick started their career at Semtech in 1996, where they worked in sales. Nick then joined International Rectifier in 2001 as the VP of Global Strategic Sales, where they were responsible for developing and growing the top 10 OEMs in the electronic consumer industry. After leaving International Rectifier in 2007, Nick worked at Boston Power as the Vice President of Global Sales, where they developed strategic plans and organized a global sales organization to support key accounts. Nick then joined Leyden Energy in 2009 as the Vice President of Business Development, where they focused on developing strategic technology roadmap plans for advanced battery technology. In 2012, Nick joined Ioxus Inc. as the Senior VP of Global Sales and Marketing, where they were responsible for global sales and marketing for ultra-capacitor products. Nick then moved to United Silicon Carbide, Inc. in 2014 as the Vice President of Global Sales, where they were in charge of global sales initiatives for advanced silicon carbide semiconductor technologies. Most recently, Nick joined Efficient Power Conversion in 2015 as the Sr. Vice President of Sales and Marketing, where they oversee global sales and marketing efforts for GaN products.

Nick Cataldo attended Thomas A Edison Technical HS from 1972 to 1976, where they earned a Technical Diploma with Honors in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. From 1976 to 1980, they enrolled in NYU Polytechnic University and New York University's Polytechnic School of Engineering, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. During their time at NYU Polytechnic University, they also completed a minor in Computer Systems Technologies.
