Iyad Zimmo Ceng

Iyad Zimmo CEng has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Iyad is currently employed at Efficio as a (Senior Level) Management Consultancy / Strategic Advisory professional specializing in Automation and Machine Learning. In this role, they are responsible for procuring strategy setting, strategic cost reduction, automation techniques, prediction models, data management, data analytics, business transformation, project management, supply chain, operations, and business intelligence. One of their recent achievements includes leading the budgeting and cost estimating workstream for the Capital Delivery Improvement Programme. Prior to Efficio, Iyad worked at Steer as a Senior Consultant and Consultant in Infrastructure Technical Advisory Services and Machine Learning. Iyad provided technical expertise and advisory services for various transport projects, focusing on design, constructability, operation and maintenance, and cost analysis. Before that, they worked at Consolidated Contractors International Company as a Project Engineer and Senior Site Civil Engineer, where they managed construction projects and implemented machine learning and lean construction techniques. Iyad also worked at Bayti Real Estate Investment Company as a Supervision and Planning Engineer, overseeing structural design and project coordination. Iyad's work experience also includes an internship at Consolidated Contractors International Company, where they gained exposure to various aspects of construction management.

Iyad Zimmo CEng has a diverse and impressive education history. In 2018, they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a specialization in Transport from Imperial College London, achieving a distinction. Concurrently, they also pursued a Master's degree in Transport Engineering with Business Management at UCL, again receiving a distinction.

In 2012, Iyad participated in a M.Sc. Summer Course at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, focusing on Model Validation and Simulation. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering from Birzeit University between 2008 and 2012.

Iyad's education journey began with an International Baccalaureate Diploma in the Science Stream from Ramallah Friends School, which they obtained between 2005 and 2008.

Additionally, Iyad has acquired several certifications to further enhance their skills and knowledge. In 2019, they obtained the "DAT276x: Principles of Machine Learning: R Edition" certification from Microsoft. In 2016, they earned the "edX Verified Certificate for USER INNOVATION: A Path To Entrepreneurship" from MITx on edX, as well as the "edX Verified Certificate for Leadership for Engineers" from edX in collaboration with TU Delft.
