Teko Ntimane

Teko Ntimane is a data professional with extensive experience in data analysis and data science. Currently serving as a Data Scientist at Efficio since March 2024, Teko previously held the position of Data Analyst at Yoco from April 2022 to March 2024, where significant achievements included building a data model and dashboard that reduced cancellation rates from 83% to 5% in just two weeks, and redefining customer segmentation using clustering techniques. Prior experience includes a role as a Data Scientist and Graduate at Sanlam from January 2020 to March 2022, where Teko developed the Client Offer Matrix and utilized machine learning to predict mortality rates for improved underwriting and claims processes. Teko began the professional journey as a Data Analytics & HR Intern at Tsebo Solutions Group, contributing to a nationwide Employee Experience Survey.
