Lafayette Burks

Lafayette Burks is an accomplished Emergency Medicine Physician with extensive experience in the medical field. Since February 2010, Lafayette Burks has been serving at Effingham Health System, following a tenure as Emergency Department Medical Director at Wayne Memorial Hospital from November 2005 to March 2010. Prior experience includes a role as Medical Director at Curtis V Cooper Primary Healthcare from May 2004 to November 2005. Lafayette Burks earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Morehouse School of Medicine between 1995 and 1999 and completed education at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
