Daniel Murray

Daniel Murray has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Daniel is currently serving as the CEO of EFGAM Switzerland since July 2021. Prior to this role, they held various positions at EFG Bank, including Deputy Chief Investment Officer and Chief Economist. Before joining EFG Bank, Daniel worked as the Director of Strategy at Russell Investments. Daniel also has experience working at EFG Asset Management as a Director and at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers as a Vice President / Portfolio Manager. Daniel commenced their career as an Analyst at Smithers & Co. Overall, they have over 20 years of experience in the industry.

Daniel Murray has a strong educational background in economics. Daniel obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics from the University of Bristol in 1991. Daniel then pursued further studies and earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) between 1991 and 1992. Daniel continued their academic journey and successfully completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics at the University of Bristol from 1993 to 1997. In addition to their academic achievements, Daniel has also obtained a certification from the CFA Institute, specifically the CFA Institute CE Program 10 Year Milestone Badge.
