Dan Young is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in claims management and automotive service. Currently serving as the Senior Claims Manager at EFG Companies since October 2008, Dan manages preferred dealers and the powertrain team while ensuring accountability to metrics and driving performance through direct involvement with claims adjusters. Prior experience includes the role of Claims "Preferred Dealers" Manager at EFG Companies, where responsibilities included scheduling, reviewing claims, and recruiting adjusters. Dan began a career in the automotive industry at Westway Ford from February 1991 to August 1997 as a Service Manager, focusing on client servicing, technician supervision, and recruitment. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from Mississippi Valley State University and an Associate's degree in Automotive Engineering Technology from Coahoma Jr. College.
