Aamir Peracha

Aamir Peracha is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in structured products, asset management, and equity derivatives. Currently, Aamir serves as Managing Director at EFG Hermes, leading the Structured Products division since November 2016. Prior to this role, Aamir was the CEO of Mashreq Capital, overseeing asset management across equities and fixed income from May to October 2016. Aamir's tenure at Mashreqbank from 1999 to May 2016 included positions as Managing Director of Equities and Derivatives, where strategic solutions were implemented to strengthen the equity business in the MENA region, and as Director of Equities & Derivatives. Aamir also led Mashreq Securities as Head of Brokerage from 1997 to 1999, establishing and operating the subsidiary. Earlier experience includes a role as Senior Equity Analyst at ING Barings. Aamir holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
