Michael Merriken

Michael Merriken is a retired Fire Captain with the San Diego Fire Rescue Department, where Michael responded to emergency rescues, fires, and medical incidents, as well as conducted and supervised post-incident fire and explosion investigations. Michael also served as a Senior Fire Explosive Investigator at EFI Global. In addition, Michael worked as an Adjunct Professor at San Diego Miramar College and as a Reserve Sheriff Lieutenant with the San Diego County Sheriff's Department, where Michael supervised the Reserve Detail and gained over 26 years of experience in law enforcement leadership and management.
