Debbie Cook

Debbie Cook is a seasoned professional in the non-profit and sports sectors, currently serving as Director for the English Football League since February 2024 and as a Board Trustee at Horizon Youth Zone. Previously, Cook held the position of Chief Executive at Grimsby Town Football Club from June 2021 to February 2024 and at YMCA Humber from December 2018 to May 2021. Additionally, Cook was the Director of Corporate Relations at Seafish and served as Chief Executive at NASS, where responsibilities included strategic direction and governance. In the realm of governance, Cook has been a Trustee for the Arthritis & Musculoskeletal Alliance and an Executive Member of the Ankylosing Spondylitis International Federation. With a strong educational background, including a Master of Public Administration from the University of Warwick and various qualifications in public administration, Cook also held earlier roles such as Head of Democracy & Communications at Lincolnshire County Council.
