Helke Carvalho Hernandes has a strong background in leadership and management roles in various organizations. Helke began their career at HSBC Bank Brazil as an Account Manager, where they worked for ten years. In 2004, they joined EFMD Global as a Project Manager and eventually became the Director of Marketing, Communications & IT. Helke then served as the Deputy Director General and Deputy Director General of Development & External Relations before taking on the role of Vice President in 2019. In 2015, they became the Executive Director of AHRMIO - Association for Human Resources Management in International Organizations. Helke also currently serves as an International Advisory Board Member at ESCP Business School.

Helke Carvalho Hernandes holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidade de Ribeirão Preto, which they obtained from 1990 to 1994. Helke also pursued further education at Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, where they earned a Master's degree in International Trade from 2000 to 2001. In 2006 and 2007, they attended ESCP Business School and completed an Executive MBA with a focus on Management.
