Phil Hallstedt's work experience begins in 1994 at Eli Lilly where they worked as a Global Marketing Manager, focusing on new product development in diabetes, women's health, and neurology. Phil was responsible for managing the global diabetes unit and providing marketing leadership for product design, brand development, clinical development, and alliance collaboration. Phil also led commercial collaborations and branding and market research efforts.
In 2009, Phil joined Group 4 as the Director of Business Development and Healthcare. Phil held this position until 2018 and was responsible for developing new business opportunities and partnerships in the healthcare industry.
From 2018 to 2019, Phil worked at VeoRide as the VP of Community Engagement. In this role, they were involved in engaging communities in micromobility transportation.
In 2019, Phil joined Gotcha as the Director of Mobility Partnerships and later became the Senior VP of Operations. Phil led Gotcha's operations team and played a key role in engaging communities in micromobility transportation. However, they left the company in 2020 due to a restructuring after the founder's resignation.
In 2006, Phil and their wife started HH Cherries, a cherry orchard business. Under their management, the orchard grew into a fully functional homestead that also opened to the public for fresh cherries and flowers during the summer season.
Most recently, Phil started working at EFO Ventures in 2021 as the Head of Partnerships. EFO Ventures is a micromobility fleet supplier that provides hardware and software solutions for scaling shared use operations.
Phil Hallstedt completed their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Health and Chemistry from the University of Michigan in 1986. Phil then pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Public Health (MsPH) from the same university in the same year.
After a gap of four years, from 1990 to 1992, Phil attended Indiana University's Kelley School of Business. Here, they pursued an MBA degree with a focus on Marketing and Finance.
Immediately after completing their MBA in 1992, Phil continued at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, once again specializing in Marketing and Finance. This took him two years, and they graduated in 1994 with a second MBA degree.
