Iosune Aguirre currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Global Head of Assessment & Recognition at EFQM, a position held since August 2018. Previously, Iosune was an English teacher at Clematis International School and Kinder from October 2017 to July 2018 and had an extensive tenure at EFQM from March 2010 to December 2016, during which Iosune progressed through various roles including Programme Manager for Recognition and Coordinator of Portfolio Development & Delivery. Iosune's responsibilities have encompassed managing EFQM Excellence Awards, overseeing the assessor training process, and improving customer relationships. Iosune's professional background also includes experience in market research and logistics optimization from roles at Universidad de Deusto and Industrias Auxiliares. Iosune holds a degree in Human Sciences and Business from the University of Deusto and a Master's degree in Integrated Management Systems from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia.
