Asif Akhtar

Asif Akhtar is the current Manager at EFU Life Assurance Ltd. Prior to this, they worked as an Electrical Engineer at Bank Alfalah Limited from July 2015 to September 2016. There, they were responsible for the Electrical system of the building, Maintenance, Operation and Troubleshooting of UPS, Air-conditioning System,Generator,Fire Suppression and Fire Alarm System of Building and Data Center. Asif also did Load Calculation of Generators and transformer for bank’s branches/Offices.

From April 2014 to July 2015, Asif worked as Deputy Manager Corrective Maintenance at K-Electric Ltd.

Asif has experience in managing an enterprise Tier-III data center with specific experience in large footprint environment, banking/business continuity solutions of financial institution. Asif is also experienced in IDS2000V2 Modular Data Center Solution with cold Aisle Containment,Inrow Cooling units Precision Air-Conditioner,NetCol500A035H,35KW,High Efficient Modular UPS,120KVA ,3+1,Support NetECo to implement comprehensive monitoring ,real time alarm ,reporting and remote management.

At their current position as Manager at EFU Life Assurance Ltd, Asif is responsible for managing all maintenance contracts, vendors, suppliers and contract renewals relevant to Data Center.

Asif Akhtar has a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology. Asif also has an HSC in Engineering from Adamjee Govt Science College and an SSC in Matric(Science) from Saqib Public School. Asif is certified from LinkedIn in Project Management Foundations: Teams, EXIN in Certified Data Center Specialist CDCS, APC by Schneider Electric in Certified APC Technical Consultant Data Center, EXIN in Certified Data Center Professional CDCP, and APC by Schneider Electric in Certified APC Sales Associate. Asif is also certified from APC by Schneider Electric in Certified APC Sales Professional for Business Network and Certified APC Sales Professional for Data Centers.
