Thomas Rene Nielsen

Thomas Rene Nielsen is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in project and program management across multiple industries. Currently serving as Head of Technology at EG since February 2019, Thomas manages architecture, mobile app development, AI, and shared technology departments, while also overseeing multi-team projects as a technical project manager. Previous roles include Chief Executive Officer at Supportive Robotics and Development Manager at inCaptiva, where Thomas was responsible for development activities and technical project management. Thomas's early career features positions as Systems Architect at both Dansk Web Bureau and Mærsk Data, specializing in eCommerce solutions and system development. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Physics from the University of Southern Denmark.
