Dan Zhao

Dan Zhao has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. Dan is currently an IT System Administrator at eGain Corporation, where they are responsible for managing complex IT infrastructure and ensuring maximum uptime and security for all systems. Dan has successfully migrated hundreds of Windows and Linux virtual machines and upgraded the VMware vSphere version, improving performance and reducing downtime.

Prior to their current role, Dan worked as a Senior Systems Engineer at Malwarebytes. In this position, they evaluated, monitored, and enhanced IT infrastructure with a focus on availability, scalability, and security. Dan also acted as an escalation point for troubleshooting advanced systems and network issues, providing excellent service to internal customers and resolving problematic system issues.

Before joining Malwarebytes, Dan served as a System Engineer at SINOSURE, where they implemented, optimized, and maintained VMware virtual infrastructure. In addition to their formal education, Dan Zhao has obtained several certifications including VMware Certified Professional 6 Network Virtualization from VMware in November 2017, VMware Certificated Professional 6 Data Center Virtualization from VMware in March 2017, Certification of certified information security professional from the Chinese Information Security Evaluation Center in March 2014, and CCNA from Acme Science in July 2012.
