Karen H.

Karen H. has a diverse range of work experience, starting in 1997 as a Trainer and NVQ Assessor, where they provided HTML tuition, worked with small businesses and teachers to create websites, and assessed candidates for National Vocational Qualifications in Information Technology. In 1999, they worked as a Marking Coordinator at OCR, where they sampled marked examination submissions and provided feedback to examiners. From 2000 to 2002, Karen worked as a Consultant and Project Manager at Vocalis, providing usability and technical guidance and managing voice solution projects. From 2002 to 2006, they served as the Head of Client Services at e-relationship marketing ltd, building and managing a client services team and developing a campaign management process. In 2006, Karen founded Tastes Ltd, a high-end food and drinks retail business, which they grew to profitability and established as a community fixture. From 2019 to 2020, Karen engaged in freelance and voluntary projects, including project management, marketing consultancy, testing, and website design. In 2020, they worked as a Product Manager for a joint venture called The Virtual Financial Coach, managing the product up to its launch. Currently, Karen is working as a Marketing Manager at eGain Corporation.

Karen H. has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of York. Karen also holds a Master's Degree in Ergonomics from Loughborough University. In addition to their academic qualifications, Karen has obtained several certifications including the Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders from BIIAB in February 2018, the Level 2 - Food Safety & Hygiene for Retail from City & Guilds in October 2015, and the Foundation Certificate in Food Hygiene from The Chartered Institute of Environmental Health in February 2006.
