Paul Andersen

Paul Andersen is a seasoned leader in the technology and internet sectors with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as President of EGATE Networks since June 1996, Paul has also held significant roles at the Canadian Network Operators Consortium (CNOC) since June 2014, including Chair of the Board of Directors and Vice Chairman. Paul previously contributed to ARIN from January 2004 to December 2021, serving as Chair of the Board of Trustees among other positions. At CIRA, Paul chaired the Nomination Committee and led the Board of Directors until December 2021. Paul was the President of Arctic Names from November 2004 to March 2020, successfully operating an accredited domain registrar before its acquisition by easyDNS. Additionally, Paul chaired the Board and served as President of the Toronto Internet Exchange from February 2007 to February 2010. Paul holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Science and Engineering from the University of Toronto, completed in 1999.
