Simon De Montfort Walker

Simon De Montfort Walker is the President & Managing Director at eGate Solutions. Simon has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry, and has held senior positions at some of the world's leading companies.

Simon started their career at IBM in 1999, where they worked as a Business Consultant for five years. Simon then moved to Sapient, where they spent four years as Director of Business Consulting. In 2006, Simon left IBM to join Unicorn Solutions as CEO. Simon ran the company for two years before it was acquired by IBM in 2008.

After a brief stint back at IBM, Simon joined Blue Cod Technologies as EVP of Operations & Sales in 2009. Simon spent four years at Blue Cod, before moving to gategroup in 2013. Simon spent two years as CIO/CTO of gategroup, before becoming President & Managing Director of eGate Solutions in 2016.

Under Simon's leadership, eGate Solutions has become one of the world's leading providers of travel technology solutions. The company's products are used by major airlines and travel companies around the globe, and it has a team of over 500 employees spread across 12 countries.

Simon De Montfort Walker's educational career includes an MBA from the Texas McCombs School of Business and a BA in ECON from the University of King's College.
