Mokhtar Bounour

Mokhtar BOUNOUR, Eng. MBA, currently serves as the CEO of Egbin Power PLC since September 2022. Prior to this role, Mokhtar held the position of Business Development Director for the MEAT region at Grupo Fertiberia from January 2019 to September 2022 and served as CEO of Fertial SPA, a leading fertilizer company in Algeria and North Africa, from April 2016 to August 2018. Mokhtar's earlier experiences include serving as EMEA Operations Director and Operations Manager at APR Energy and GE Power & Water, respectively, contributing to project management and operational excellence in various capacities. Mokhtar also led SKS, the first independent power producer in Algeria, as CEO from July 2007 to February 2011. Academic credentials comprise a Doctorate in Business Administration from BSI Luxembourg, an MBA, and several other advanced degrees in commerce and engineering.
