Diego Armando Vanegas Rodriguez

Diego Armando Vanegas Rodriguez is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in electrical engineering and operations management. Currently serving as the Gerente de operaciones y mantenimiento centralizado at EGE Haina, Diego oversees the operation and maintenance of a diversified generation matrix comprising wind, solar, thermal, and combined cycle systems. Prior roles include commissioning and O&M activities for 53MW thermal generation systems as an Electrical & Instrumentation Coordinator. Diego has also held positions such as E&I Commissioning Engineer and Electrical Coordinator in various companies, contributing to significant projects within the energy and infrastructure sectors. Diego holds a Master's degree in Renewable Energy from UCAM Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia and a Master of Engineering in Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency from EADIC, along with a degree in Mechatronics Engineering from Universidad de San Buenaventura.
