George Church

George Church serves as a Professor at Harvard Medical School since 1986, focusing on research and teaching. In addition to academic duties, Church has co-founded multiple companies, including Eugit Therapeutics (2022), Colossal Biosciences (2021), Dyno Therapeutics (2018), ARRIVED AI (2019), eGenesis, Inc. (2015), and Editas Medicine (2013). Church also holds advisory roles at Genome Compiler Corp. (TwistBio) and Genia Corp., both since 2011, specializing in nanopore DNA sequencing. The foundation of Church's expertise is rooted in an extensive educational background, culminating in a PhD in Biochemistry from Harvard University, supplemented by studies in chemistry, zoology, and various other scientific disciplines at prestigious institutions.
