Sanaz Agarwal

Sanaz Agarwal is a Scientist I in Computational Biology at eGenesis, Inc. since November 2024, with prior experience as a Bioinformatics Analyst II at Fred Hutch, where workflows for variant calling and differential gene expression were developed for cancer genomics analysis. Sanaz served as a Graduate Research Assistant at The Johns Hopkins University, focusing on DNA probe selection algorithms and pipeline development for microbiome NGS sequencing, and also conducted survival and statistical analyses for NICU clinical data at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Previous roles include research in DNA sequencing and bioinformatics at Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Sanaz holds a Master of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Technology in Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
