Katayoun Welin-Berger

Katayoun Welin-Berger, PhD, serves as Vice President of Operations at Egetis Therapeutics AB since March 2023, following a similar role at Calliditas Therapeutics AB from January 2020 to March 2023. Prior to these positions, Katayoun held the role of VP Operations at BioGaia AB from January 2014 to December 2019 and progressed through various roles at AstraZeneca between January 2005 and October 2013, including Senior Business Relationship Manager and Associate Director. Katayoun's experience encompasses significant responsibilities in managing global external supplier portfolios valued at over $200 million, ensuring the supply chain's efficiency, and leading cross-functional teams for API sourcing. Katayoun earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Uppsala University, where studies spanned from 1988 to 2001.
