Elyse Germain

Elyse Germain is a skilled professional in animal care and welfare with a comprehensive background in program development and policy analysis. Currently serving as Manager of Program Development at the Egg Farmers of Canada since June 2015, Elyse collaborates with a team to enhance the on-farm Animal Care Program while monitoring industry trends and participating in research initiatives. Previous roles include Quality Control Specialist at Chicken Farmers of Saskatchewan, where responsibilities involved auditing animal care programs, and Research Assistant at Ontario Pork, focusing on pain management in swine operations. Elyse holds a Master of Science in Animal Behaviour and Welfare and a Bachelor of Bio-Resource Management in Equine Management from the University of Guelph.
