Eugenia Herwig

Eugenia Herwig currently serves as a Program & Policy Analyst at Egg Farmers of Canada since November 2020. Prior experience includes a tenure at the University of Saskatchewan as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Co-Investigator from November 2013 to November 2020, where Eugenia contributed to various poultry research projects and served as an invited lecturer across multiple courses. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Poultry Nutrition and Behaviour from the University of Saskatchewan and a Master’s degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare from the University of Guelph. Additional roles include research positions and administrative duties within various academic and research settings, as well as participation in educational programs targeting youth and international students.
