Joost Boele

Joost Boele is an accomplished IT professional with a diverse background in cybersecurity and information security management. They began their career with an MSc internship at RIKEN and progressed to roles such as Manager in the Cyber Strategy group at Deloitte Nederland, focusing on improving organizational security and providing cyber training. Joost later served as the Chief Information Security Officer at Antoni van Leeuwenhoek, leading a team of over 60 individuals, and currently holds the position of Head of IT Operations at the same institute. Joost is also a member of the Supervisory Board at The New School for Information Services and has a strong academic foundation, having earned a Ph.D. from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
