Taru Laurikainen

Taru Laurikainen is the Managing Director of EGN Finland at the EGN Group. Taru has been with the company for 5 years and 11 months, and has held various titles during their time there, including Managing Director, Peer Group Chair, and Chief Customer Officer.

Prior to their work at the EGN Group, Laurikainen was with Tamro Corp for 8 years and 7 months, where they served as Director of both Daily Trade and Pharmakon. During their time at Tamro Corp, they were responsible for leading the pharmacy and hospital sales and marketing business unit Pharmakon, as well as developing and launching Elivo, a private label pharmacy line, and TamroShop.fi, Tamro’s B2C webshop.

Laurikainen has extensive experience in developing retail logistics strategy, building organizations, creating offerings, and commercializing them. Taru is also experienced in supplier negotiations, distribution of products, customer relations management, and product and event marketing. Under their leadership, the EGN Finland has built relationships and shared knowledge with more than 14,000 members gathered in 800+ confidential local peer groups for executives, managers and other key employees.

Taru Laurikainen has a M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Aalto University. Their field of study was Food Science and Technology, Business Strategy & International Marketing, and Industrial Management. They also have a certification from the Helsinki Region Chamber of Commerce as a Certified Board Professional. Lastly, they have completed the Executive Program from Harvard Business Publishing Corporate Learning.
