Roman Kleiner

Roman Kleiner serves as the VP of Engineering at Egnyte since May 2022, following a significant tenure at Cisco from July 2018 to April 2022, where oversight of Secure Web Gateway and CASB products was the primary responsibility within a global team of over 150 engineers. Prior to that, Roman held several engineering leadership roles at Forcepoint LLC, focusing on the Web Security product roadmap and customer base, and at Raytheon|Websense. Roman's technical journey began with engineering positions at Symbian and Finjan Ltd., leading teams and working on innovative secure web gateway solutions. Roman has a strong foundation in computer science and mathematics, holding degrees from Tel Aviv University and Chalmers University of Technology, complemented by an extensive background in software engineering developed during service with the Israel Defense Forces and earlier company roles.
