Rodrigo Tome

Rodrigo Tome has a diverse work experience in the engineering and timber industry. Rodrigo is currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Egoin since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Técnico Comercial at Egoin starting in January 2021. From April 2020 to January 2021, they held the position of a Research Assistant / Mass Timber Project Specialist at the State University of New York College of Environmental Sciences and Forestry. Before that, they worked as a Project Engineer at New Energy Works Timberframers from January 2018 to April 2020. In 2017, Rodrigo was a Masters Student at the State University of New York College of Environmental Sciences and Forestry. Rodrigo also has experience as a Senior Engineer and Designer at CBS-Lifteam from April 2011 to December 2016, and as a Professional Internship IBOIS at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from January 2011 to April 2011. Their earlier work experience includes working as an Engineer and Designer at Bois consult Natterer from October 2009 to January 2011.

Rodrigo Tome holds a Master's degree in Forestry from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, which they completed from 2001 to 2009. Later, in 2017, they pursued another Master's degree, this time in Construction Management, from State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
