egreen (Hellenic Import Export Enterprises LTD) is the pioneer company in Greece
for green roof state of the art technology. In collaboration with ZinCo, the
international leading company for green roof systems, provide a complete series of
specialized products and know-how for the construction and maintenance of green
roofs, according to international standards and specifications (CE Marking, ΕΟΤΑ, FLL
Guidelines).
The multi-layered green roof system qualifies for use and excellent performance in
the Mediterranean climatic conditions, and guaranties both environmental and
energy-saving benefits. The ZinCo green roof system build up includes anti-root
membranes, drainage systems, filter sheets and special planting system substrates
for every green roof.
The ZinCo green roof technology has been implemented in numerous public and
private projects in Greece, planted with Mediterranean plants species. Remarkably,
egreen participated from the early design to the construction phase, in one of the
most ambitious projects in recent Greek history, the Stavros Niarchos Foundation
Cultural Center (Athens 2014-2016) with more of 20.000 sq.m. of green areas
covering the roofs of the National Library, the National Opera and the Car Park
