Jesus J. Shelby Jr.

Jesus J. Shelby Jr. has worked in IT since 2009. Jesus J. began their career at SAIC as a Software Application Engineer/ SharePoint Architect in 2009. In this role, they were responsible for earning DOD Authority to Operate (ATO) approval, producing System Security Authorization Agreement (SSAA) and Department of Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) packages, and ensuring compliance with all Federal, Department of Defense, and Department of Navy Security Mandates. Jesus J.'sknowledge of Information Assurance processes prevented the need for outside assistance for accreditation, saving over $50,000.

In 2010, Jesus J. Shelby Jr. moved to Secure Mission Solutions, where they served as the SharePoint Architect and Web Services Technical Team Lead. In this role, they were responsible for a team of Administrators and Developers supporting multiple SharePoint farms and web servers, conducting Analysis, Design, development, deployment, and overall management of SharePoint projects. Jesus J. also led a team of mixed contractors working under a shared contract to support Navy Medicine.

Since 2012, Jesus J. Shelby Jr. has been the Director of Cloud and Managed Services at eGroup. In this role, they are responsible for the vision, strategy, and execution of the service delivery team. Jesus J.'smission is to deliver speed and certainty to cloud migration and integration initiatives. Jesus J. is also involved with sales, pre-sales, marketing, post-sales deliver, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.

Jesus J. Shelby Jr. obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Southern Wesleyan University in 2012, a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communications / Digital Design from American InterContinental University in 2005, and attended U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology in 2003. Jesus J. also holds a number of certifications from Microsoft, (ISC)2, PEOPLECERT, and CompTIA.
