Joe Maddox is an experienced Senior Electrical Designer with a career spanning over four decades in the electrical design and engineering field. Currently positioned at EGS, Inc. since June 2019, Joe continues to contribute expertise to the Savannah River Site. Prior roles include a Senior Electrical Designer for the Emerald Performance Materials Plant Rebuild Project at Mesa Technical Services, and various senior electrical and instrumentation design positions at QED Associates and Lauren Engineers & Constructors, where responsibilities encompassed design and commissioning for industrial clients. Joe also served as Lead Electrical Designer at Washington Group International and Raytheon, supervising teams and overseeing the design of industrial electrical and instrumentation systems. Joe's foundational experience includes early work as an Electrical Design/Drafter at Fluor Corporation. Joe holds multiple certificates in engineering technology and electrical design, showcasing a solid educational background in the field.
