Joscha Storz has a diverse work experience in engineering and mechanical design. Joscha served as the Head of Engineering Systems and Services at EGYM from January 2019. Prior to that, they held various roles at EGYM including Interim Director of Quality, Head of Mechanical Engineering, and Teamlead Mechanical Design. Their experience at EGYM also includes serving as Fachliche Leitung Konstruktion and Mechanical Engineer.
Before joining EGYM, Joscha Storz worked at BMW Group. Their roles at BMW Group included being a Diplomand and a Fachpraktikant, where they worked on method development and simulation for cooling high-voltage batteries and on construction and calculation of high-voltage batteries.
Prior to BMW Group, they worked as a Hilfswissenschaftler at the Institut für Kunststoffverarbeitung an der RWTH-Aachen (IKV) from July 2009 to July 2010.
Joscha Storz's education history begins in 2003 when they attended Cathedral City High School in California, USA for a year as part of an exchange program. In 2006, they enrolled at RWTH Aachen University and completed their studies in 2014, obtaining a degree in Diplom-Ingenieur in the field of Maschinenbau; Konstruktion und Entwicklung.
During their time at RWTH Aachen University, Joscha Storz also had the opportunity to participate in a cooperative product development program with Hongik University in Seoul. This collaboration took place in 2009 and was known as CoPro 2009.
In 2010, Joscha Storz furthered their education by attending Tsinghua University, where they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Fahrzeugtechnik. Their studies at Tsinghua University lasted until 2011.
