Brian Russell

Brian Russell has worked in the software engineering industry since 1999. Theirfirst role was as an IT Professional for IBM Global Services. In 2000, they were a Software Developer for Synergenic, LLC, where they executed several large Web Application projects. In 2003, they became Co-Founder and Software Engineer for Closerware, LLC (VolunteerMatters), where they applied skills in web application technology to autonomously develop or assist in development of all of the company’s major SaaS, Java-based, product offerings. In 2010, they were a Software Developer for MAPFRE, where they were the lead Java developer on a Swing application used by insurance claims adjusters. Since 2017, they have been a Senior Software Engineer Team Lead for eHana.

Brian Russell attended the University of Connecticut School of Business from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems.
