Chris Deem

Chris Deem has a diverse work experience in the field of Information Technology. Chris started their career in 2005 as a Senior Network Engineer at Apogee IT Services, formerly known as PC Network Services and CMIT Solutions - Boston. In this role, they served as a Senior Project Leader, Systems Designer, and Implementation Specialist for a managed services IT consultancy, working with clients across the United States.

In 2015, Chris joined Duquesne Light Company where they held multiple roles. Initially, they worked as an Infrastructure Engineer III, providing assistance and technical support for Microsoft technologies. Chris then transitioned to the role of Supervisor, IT Infrastructure, where they led, coached, and mentored a team of IT Engineers, created policies and procedures, and conducted company-wide technology training. Later, they became the Manager of Infrastructure Engineering, overseeing the infrastructure engineering team.

Currently, Chris is serving as the Director of Information Technology - Infrastructure at eHealth Technologies since 2023, where they are responsible for leading and managing the infrastructure of the company's IT systems.

Throughout their career, Chris has demonstrated expertise in server configurations, Active Directory, SQL, and Office 365. Chris has also showcased strong leadership skills, customer service, and an ability to effectively communicate complex technical information.

Chris Deem earned an Associate's Degree in Computer Security and Forensics from Pittsburgh Technical College from 2005 to 2008. In addition, Chris obtained certifications including the A+ Certification and the Network+ Certification from CompTIA in 2005. They are also planning to pursue The Pittsburgh IT Leadership Development Program from Ouellette & Associates Consulting, Inc. in 2023.
