Janet Byers, CPA

Janet Byers, CPA has extensive experience in the field. Janet began their career in 1995 as a Consultant with Deloitte Consulting. Janet then progressed to Senior Consultant before joining Cerner Corporation in 2000. At Cerner, they held various roles including Director and Consulting Executive, Director and Client Results Executive, and Senior Director and Consulting Services Executive. Janet also assisted clients with achieving Meaningful Use and HIMSS Level 6 and received recognition as CRE of the Year. In 2020, they became an Independent Business Owner and Consultant at JCB Information Technology Consulting, LLC, where they provided executive level consultative services, managed the overall and daily implementation process of a clinical and revenue cycle implementation, and managed tasks required to interface to 3rd party Medical Device Interfaces. In 2021, they joined EHR Concepts as a Project Manager/Consultant and Innovar Solutions as a Project Leader.

Janet Byers obtained their Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Computer Science (minor) from The University of Alabama. Janet then went on to obtain their Master of Science in Accounting from The University of Alabama. In March 1999, they obtained their Certified Public Accountant certification from the State of Georgia.
