Zakaria Zaki al Attal

Zakaria Zaki Al Attal is a highly experienced professional in quality and patient safety within healthcare. Currently serving as Senior Consultant for Quality and Development at Emirates Health Services since September 2021, Zakaria oversees various programs including the International Accreditation Program and serves as a senior advisor to the EHS Director General. Concurrently, Zakaria has held a position at the Ministry of Health and Prevention since March 2014, providing expert advice on organizational development and leading the international accreditation program. With a long-standing role as a consultant with Joint Commission International since July 2006, Zakaria supports healthcare organizations globally in enhancing quality and safety standards. Previously, Zakaria directed quality and performance management at Dubai Health Authority and worked as a consultant for various health institutions. Zakaria's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Quality and Patient Safety from The University of Salford and a Master of Quality Management from Wollongong University.
