S. Jonathan Eskritt

S. Jonathan Eskritt has worked in a variety of engineering roles since 2001. S. Jonathan began their career as a PhD Candidate at the University of Calgary, where they also served as the ATIPS Lab Manager and Postdoctoral Fellow. In 2009, they moved to Rad3 Communications as a Design Engineer E.I.T. In 2011, they joined PMC-Sierra as a Staff DSP Design Engineer and was later promoted to Senior DSP Design Engineer E.I.T. In 2016, they began working as a Staff Engineer at Eideticom.

S. Jonathan Eskritt obtained a BASc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Windsor between 1994 and 1998. S. Jonathan then went on to earn a MASc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Windsor between 1998 and 2001. S. Jonathan furthered their studies at the University of Calgary, earning a Ph. D. in Computer Engineering, DSP, VLSI, and Computer Arithmetic between 2001 and 2009. In 2016, they completed the PyImageSearch Gurus Graduate program at PyImageSearch. In 2017, they obtained their P. Eng. certification from The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA). Finally, in 2019, they completed the Deep Learning Specialization program at Coursera.
