Neil Kumar

Neil Kumar, PhD has served as Eidos’ Chief Executive Officer and a member of its board of directors since March 2016. Dr. Kumar founded BridgeBio Pharma, LLC and has served as its chief executive officer since April 2015. Prior to that, he served as the interim vice president of business development at MyoKardia, Inc. from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, Dr. Kumar served as a principal at Third Rock Ventures from 2011 to 2014. Before joining Third Rock, he served as an associate principal at McKinsey & Company from 2007 to 2011. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in chemical engineering from Stanford University and received his PhD in chemical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
