Denis Valentino has a strong background in software engineering, with experience in various companies and roles. Denis is currently working as a Software Engineer at Eidosmedia since February 2021. Prior to that, from 2017 to 2021, they worked at lastminute.com group as a Software Engineer, where they were involved in system integration of GDS and low-cost suppliers in the flight and rail area using Scrum methodology. Denis was proficient in technologies such as Spring, Webservices (SOAP and Rest), and Kubernetes.
Before joining lastminute.com group, Denis worked at HP as a Technical Consultant from 2008 to 2017. In this role, they were responsible for web portals reengineering for an Italian telco client. Prior to HP, Denis worked at Data Management S.p.A. as a Software Engineer from 2005 to 2008. Here, they focused on the development of a framework for human resources management and served as a team leader in the realization of the payroll module.
Denis's earlier experience includes working as a Java Developer at Gate Tecnologie Informatiche s.r.l from 2001 to 2004. In this role, they were responsible for projects such as the development of an Internet Clearing Workstation and a framework for electronic marketplaces for financial institutions.
Throughout their career, Denis has shown expertise in various areas such as analysis/design, development, team coordination, and technical documentation. Denis has remained up-to-date with the latest technologies and methodologies in software engineering.
Denis Valentino began their education at I.T.I.S. "Luigi Galvani" from 1991 to 1996, where they studied to become a Perito in Informatica. Denis then attended Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca from 1997 to 2004, majoring in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, Denis obtained the "Eccellenze in digitale" certification from Google in May 2017. Denis also holds certifications in Agile Scrum Foundation and the ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from EXIN your ICT competence partner, although the specific dates of obtaining these certifications were not provided.
