Andrew Ellenbogen

Managing Director at EIG

Mr. Ellenbogen is a Managing Director and member of the Investment and Executive Committees with a primary focus on power generation and energy infrastructure assets. Prior to joining EIG in 2011, Mr. Ellenbogen was a Vice President in Morgan Stanley’s Power and Utilities Investment Banking group, where he advised a wide range of clients including regulated utilities, independent power producers and project developers, and executed mergers and acquisitions, debt financings and equity offerings. Previously, Mr. Ellenbogen worked at General Electric, evaluating and helping to improve the performance of GE businesses globally, as part of the GE Corporate Audit Staff. Mr. Ellenbogen began his career as an analyst in GE’s Financial Management Program, where he held various finance roles within GE Power Systems, including business development/M&A, acquisition integration, financial planning and analysis, and manufacturing finance. Mr. Ellenbogen received an A.B. cum laude from Duke University and a J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School. Mr. Ellenbogen is fluent in Spanish.
