Emily Rodgers has a diverse range of work experience in the field of environmental, social, and governance (ESG). Emily currently holds the position of Managing Director, ESG at EIG, where they lead a global impact and ESG practice. Emily is responsible for identifying material ESG risks in investment due diligence and portfolio management, as well as quantifying the impact of emerging technologies on sustainable development. Emily also develops firm-wide strategies to support investor perspectives and energy asset management. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior VP and ESG Director at EIG, where they played a strategic role in developing and implementing plans to identify and manage ESG risk.
Before their time at EIG, Emily worked as the Global Environment & Sustainability Director at Apache Corporation, where they led a global team focused on environmental compliance, regulatory engagement, operational efficiencies, and sustainability reporting. Emily also had a special focus on identifying emission reduction opportunities and developing decarbonization targets for the company. Earlier in their career, Emily worked as a Corporate Responsibility Manager at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, where they managed the disclosure and reporting of governance, HSE, stakeholder engagement, and social investment initiatives. Emily also worked as a Climate and GHG Lead, overseeing corporate climate change programs and engaging in policy analysis and advocacy.
Emily has additional experience as an ESG and Corporate Responsibility Advisor, where they provided advisory services in the field of ESG and corporate responsibility. Emily has also worked as a Sustainability and Climate Change Project Manager at Environmental Resources Management, where they developed and delivered sustainability strategies and programs for global organizations. Emily began their career as a Climate Change Intern at Dominion Exploration & Production and as an Analyst at Wachovia Securities.

Emily Rodgers received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Geology from Colgate University in 2002. Emily then went on to obtain a Masters of Environmental Management degree with a focus on Sustainability, Energy Resources & Climate Change from Duke University, completing their studies in 2006.
