Erika Herman

Erika Herman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Erika is currently serving as the Vice President and Associate General Counsel at EIG, a position they have held since August 2023. Prior to this, they were the Vice President and Associate Counsel at EIG from March 2023 until August 2023. Erika also previously worked as an Assistant Vice President and Associate Counsel at EIG from August 2020 until March 2023.

Before joining EIG, Erika worked as an Associate at Gunderson Dettmer from October 2018 until July 2020. Erika also gained experience as an Associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP from October 2016 until October 2018.

Erika's career began with internships and summer associate positions. Erika worked as a Summer Associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in 2015, at Sidley Austin LLP in 2014, and as a Legal Intern at the International Finance Corporation in 2013.

Erika also has experience outside the legal field. Erika worked as an Associate Consultant at L.E.K. Consulting from 2009 until 2012 and as a Summer Fellow at New Sector Alliance in 2008.

Erika Herman attended Duke University from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a JD/MBA degree. Prior to that, they studied at the University of Pennsylvania from 2005 to 2009, earning a BA in Political Science and Urban Studies.
