Nathan Mauzy has extensive work experience in the finance and accounting field. Nathan started their career as an Accountant, working on ledger data consolidation and cash flow variance analysis for worldwide Copper Assets. Nathan then became a General Ledger Accountant for three steel companies, where they handled monthly accounting, variance analysis, and reporting. Nathan later transitioned to a Taxation Accountant role, managing US tax group consolidation and reporting, as well as participating in the Hyperion System Upgrade team. Nathan then worked as a Senior Accountant, leading the establishment of an accounting team and overseeing an accounting system conversion. Nathan continued to advance their career at BHP, where they held positions such as Joint Venture Accountant, Management Reporting Supervisor, SAP Consolidations Analyst, and Accounting Controller. In these roles, they were responsible for project management, financial reporting, and budgeting across various operations and regions. After leaving BHP, Nathan joined Cobalt International Energy as a Controller, where they achieved significant cost savings and improved control processes. Nathan'smost recent position is with EIG as the Senior Vice President and Harbour Energy Controller, where they are responsible for cash management, cost accounting, reporting, and budgeting for significant investments generating approximately $2B in annual revenue. Nathan also played a key role in securing a $30 million margin loan for short-term working capital. Throughout their career, Nathan has demonstrated their ability to streamline processes, improve financial controls, and drive efficiency within organizations.

Nathan Mauzy obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Business from Eastern Arizona College between 1993 and 1995. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting at the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University from 1995 to 1997.
