Umang Agarwal

Umang Agarwal is the current Principal at Eight Roads. Prior to this, they were with HealthKart from January 2015 to November 2018 where they led the P&L of Healthkart.com marketplace along with digital marketing and Healthkart consumer brands business on Horizontal E-Commerce platforms. Under their leadership, the wellness brand was incubated and scaled to be the 4th largest in the country in a digital first way.

Before HealthKart, Umang was with The Boston Consulting Group from May 2012 to December 2015 as a Consultant. During their time there, they developed an organizational transformation and business excellence program across channels for a national bank in India.

Umang Agarwal attended the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, where they earned a PGDM in Strategy and Finance. Umang then became an exchange student at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, studying Economics. Finally, they attended the Indian Institute of Technology in Roorkee, earning a B.Tech in Electronics & Communication.

They work with Tamina Fogelberg - Venture Capital Investor, Ted Chua - Senior Partner, and Lucile Cornet - Partner. Umang Agarwal reports to Davor Hebel, Managing Partner, Head of Europe.
