Varsha Patel

Varsha Patel is a finance professional with over fifteen years of experience in the industry. Varsha currently heads up the finance department for Europe Ventures at Eight Roads, a venture capital firm. Prior to this, they held a number of positions at various companies, including Markit, 3i Asia Limited, and Barclays.

Patel began their career as an intern at HSBC in 2000. After their internship, they worked as a management information analyst at Barclays for two years before moving to 3i Asia Limited in 2005. At 3i, they served as an investment portfolio manager for seven years, during which time they were responsible for financial and operational support for the Asia portfolio. In 2012, they left 3i to take on an interim finance manager role at Markit.

Patel joined Eight Roads in 2014 and has been heading up the finance department for Europe Ventures ever since. Under their leadership, the department has achieved a number of successes, most notably in the area of KYC data management for banks.

Varsha Patel has a BSc (Hons) in Business Economics from Brunel University London.

Varsha Patel reports to Davor Hebel, Managing Partner, Head of Europe. Varsha Patel works with Ted Chua - Senior Partner, Shweta Bhatia - Partner & Head of Technology Investments, India, and Arvind Chari - Principal.
